Environmental Project Manager

Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid; regular in-office presence expected)

Enviro Sure, Inc. is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our growing environmental consulting team based in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

We're looking for a technically strong professional who enjoys balancing fieldwork, project management, technical problem-solving, mentoring junior staff, and developing long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate is confident in managing projects independently and interested in becoming a long-term leader within a growing firm.

• Manage environmental investigations, groundwater and soil sampling programs, remediation support projects, and environmental compliance assignments.
• Manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and project budgets.
• Coordinate subcontractors and technical staff.
• Maintain exceptional responsiveness and communication with clients.

• Lead technically challenging environmental projects throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland.
• Perform and oversee field investigations, drilling programs, groundwater sampling, soil sampling, and related environmental assessments.
• Provide technical guidance on Pennsylvania Act 2 and DNREC HSCA projects, environmental due diligence, remediation support, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with technical review of reports prepared by junior staff.

• Mentor entry-level Environmental Scientists and Geologists.
• Train junior staff in field investigation techniques, environmental sampling, and project documentation.
• Help develop standardized field procedures and best practices.
• Support a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

• Build relationships with existing clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand services for current clients.
• Support redevelopment professionals, lenders, attorneys, developers, engineers, architects, and industrial clients.
• Participate in networking and professional organizations throughout the region.

The successful candidate will strengthen Enviro Sure's capabilities in:

• Pennsylvania Act 2 investigations and remediation
• Groundwater investigations and site characterization
• Brownfield redevelopment
• Environmental permitting and regulatory compliance
• Property Condition Assessments

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Typically 5 to 15 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience preparing proposals, managing budgets, and coordinating environmental investigations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently while mentoring junior staff.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

• PG preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Strong experience with Phase I/II ESAs and Pennsylvania Act 2 projects.
• Experience in one or more growth areas such as groundwater investigations, remediation, permitting, PCAs, or brownfield redevelopment.
• Existing Mid-Atlantic client or professional relationships are a plus.

Within the first 12-24 months, you will:

• Become a trusted leader within Enviro Sure's Environmental Consulting practice.
• Successfully mentor junior Environmental Scientists and Geologists.
• Strengthen Enviro Sure's expertise in redevelopment, remediation, and regulatory consulting.
• Support institutional projects while expanding technical capabilities.
• Increase project management capacity while maintaining Enviro Sure's reputation for responsiveness and technical excellence.
• Help position Enviro Sure for continued growth.
• The salary range for this position is $90,000-$135,000, commensurate with experience, professional credentials, technical expertise, and project management capabilities.
