DESCRIPTIONOF WORK
This position provides structured training in fiscal practices that support accounting, reporting, and budget monitoring. As an Administration and Management Trainee, you will undergo a 12-month probationary period to learn the responsibilities of the role. After successfully completing this period, you will advance to the position of Fiscal Management Specialist 1. You will learn how financial data is tracked and analyzed to support spending decisions.

Prepare organized financial statements and fiscal reports for review - Data Analysis:
Analyze information from various funds to help monitor expenditures - Budget Tracking:
Maintain updated fiscal records to assist with projections and spending controls - Account Management:
Process invoices and investigate data issues to ensure compliance with guidelines - Financial Projections:
Develop monthly and annual outlooks that support budget planning

Work Schedule and Additional Information- Full-time employment, 37.5 hour per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $46,827 (before taxes). - You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. - A bachelor's degree, including 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.

- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
