The Fiscal Technician at Lebanon County Children and Youth Services plays an important part in keeping financial records accurate and organized. This position focuses on performing clerical accounting tasks that support the agency's financial records and reporting. The work ensures that expenditures, income, and documentation are handled with care and accuracy. As a Fiscal Technician, you will perform the following duties:
- Financial Entry: Enter expenditures and income and verify completion of journal transfers and deposits
- Record Review: Check ledger account numbers and vendor information before processing invoices
- Quarterly Tracking: Allocate quarterly expenses and prepare related reports
- Document Processing: Review and process financial, payroll, and audit documents
- Data Maintenance: Compile fiscal data, maintain files, and support deadlines for required reports
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- One year as a Fiscal Assistant;
or - Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school;
or - One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration;
or - Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
