DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports the administration of grant programs by assisting with reviews, recommendations, and project oversight across several offices. As a Economic Development Analyst 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Project Reviews:
Review program applications and provide initial recommendations to guide funding decisions - Eligibility Analysis:
Examine applications that require deeper analysis to determine if projects meet program rules - Applicant Support:
Request additional details from applicants to ensure all eligibility standards are met - Technical Assistance:
Provide guidance to internal and external customers on program requirements - Contract Preparation:
Prepare and distribute contract materials needed for various office programs - Payment Evaluation:
Review payment requests and supporting documents to confirm cost eligibility
Work Schedule and Additional Information
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business or public administration or a related field;or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
