Contract Overview
Our direct client is seeking an Associate Generative AI Engineer who will be responsible for the development of innovative AI solutions using generative AI tools, primarily large language models. Expertise in generative models, deep learning, and data analysis will be critical in creating intelligent and transformative AI applications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to conceptualize, design, test, and deploy AI projects that drive innovation and provide value in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.
Projects range from document processing and AI chatbots for information retrieval and reasoning, to agentic solutions integrating internal tools for automation.
The role will require use of AI‑assisted programming tools like Git Hub Copilot and Claude Code.
Key Accountabilities- Design and develop algorithms for generative models using deep learning techniques.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate generative AI solutions into existing workflow systems.
- Research and stay up‑to‑date on the latest advancements in generative AI technologies and methodologies.
- Optimize and fine‑tune generative models for performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to generative AI models and implementations.
- Create and maintain documentation for generative AI models and their applications.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience in Gen AI implementation, including experience with LLMs (Claude, OpenAI GPT, Gemini), AWS Bedrock, Python (primary language), Node.js / Type Script (for backend), RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) framework, and Vector
DB. - Experience in production environments is highly valued over personal or small project work.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Access (2003, 2007, 2010).
- 2+ years of related software development experience.
- A proven understanding of Visual Basic and SQL Server.
- 2 years spent in the delivery and maintenance of mission‑critical Access solutions.
- Background in finance or document‑heavy industries, is preferred, with strong alignment to responsible AI and governance practices.
