The Azure Dev Ops Engineer II will play a critical role in enhancing the speed of delivery, improving the quality and security of code, and optimizing development processes. This position involves identifying bottlenecks in development and delivery processes, collaborating with team members to implement improvements, and enhancing the overall developer experience. The role also includes managing infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling, supporting services across multiple cloud providers, and maintaining metrics and logging systems.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Tech Leads and developers to assess existing problems and propose process improvement solutions. Identify bottlenecks in coding development and deployment processes. Participate in planning projects to improve delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency. Build coding standardizations and automate processes for the organization. Perform daily tasks such as environmental health checks, disk space monitoring, and status reporting. Maintain and expand knowledge of platform configuration management and troubleshooting.

Deploy application artifacts to appropriate target environments using supported technologies and infrastructure. Survey developers and technical team members to understand pain points in the coding and development process. Collaborate with the Dev Ops team to deliver consistent and holistic solutions to the organization. General:

Qualifications:

Excellent coding and scripting skills (Bash, Perl, Power Shell).

Experience with high-scale cloud architectures using modern, cloud-based container platforms (PaaS/SaaS). Working knowledge of deployment automation solutions (e.g., Terraform, Azure Dev Ops). Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and cluster management tools like Kubernetes.

Experience with containers such as Docker and Open Shift. Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, and Sonar. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts and align organizational decisions. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to process complex information quickly and present it clearly. Experience as a Dev Ops or SRE Engineer on a cross-functional agile team is preferred.

Pay Range: $75 - $80/hr w2 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
