Vice President of Applications

-based industrial automation and engineered solutions organisation is seeking a VP of Applications to lead the strategy, performance, and modernization of its business-critical application landscape. This is a senior, high-impact leadership role for someone who can align technology to operational priorities and deliver measurable outcomes across the enterprise.

• Define and execute the enterprise applications strategy and roadmap.
• Lead delivery across core platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, finance, HR, analytics/reporting, integrations).
• Establish strong governance (prioritisation, change control, release management, documentation).
• Improve system reliability, data quality, and user adoption through standardisation and optimisation.
• Manage budgets, vendors/partners, and service performance with clear KPIs and accountability.
• Ensure appropriate security, compliance, and risk management across applications and data.
• Build and develop a high‑performing team and operating model (internal and/or external resources).

• Proven leadership experience owning enterprise applications at Director/VP level.
• A track record delivering complex transformation programmes (implementations, upgrades, integrations).
• Strong stakeholder management – able to influence across functions and at executive level.
• Comfortable operating in a hands‑on leadership capacity (strategy + delivery).
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, automation, engineered products, or similar environments is beneficial.

• High visibility role with the ability to shape enterprise systems and operating standards.
• On‑site leadership position with real influence across the business.
