Within Anaplan’s Finance Center of Excellence, as Senior Principal Product Manager – Finance Applications, you will shape applications for planning, forecasting, and reporting, overseeing the product lifecycle from concept to delivery. You will collaborate with Application Solutions Architects, Finance Product Management teams, and the Application Builders Team, and ensure adoption by GTM and Professional Services teams. You will help set the long‑term vision and strategy for the entire suite of Finance Applications.

This is a unique opportunity for an innovative, results‑driven product manager. The role requires proven application product‑management expertise, an ability to optimize processes, rigorous attention to detail, and outstanding communication and presentation skills.

• Coordinate defining and managing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for specific Finance Applications targeting the Office of the CFO.
• Drive delivery of Finance Applications incorporating the suite of Anaplan platform components (model and UX building, Application Framework, AI, user management, data integration, reporting, forecasting, etc.).
• Gather and prioritize application requirements from SMEs and customers.
• Document and manage the application design, resourcing, workplan, and critical paths, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with QA Teams to develop test plans, automate testing, and resolve defects.
• Define and track KPIs to measure success and impact of Finance Applications.
• Drive alignment across Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Enablement Teams; ensure seamless integration into GTM motion.
• Support creation of demos, training guides, playbooks, and other supporting content to empower partners and internal teams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Finance Applications.
• Work with Partners to define and certify partner‑built applications.
• Mentor other product managers, lead by example, and establish best practices.

• Delivery to market of Finance Applications and feature enhancements.
• Adoption and successful completion of enablement by Anaplan teams.
• Value of sales of Finance Applications.
• Feedback from Product Management, Sales, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, and GTM Enablement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of related experience in product management or similar positions.
• Proven performance in product management and application development, particularly finance software solutions.
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes and FP&A domain expertise.
• Experience building multi‑dimensional planning models, ideally on the Anaplan platform.
• Knowledge of modern AI concepts, including generative AI, LLMs, and agentic frameworks.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
