Technology Consultant

Purpose and Objective

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Technology Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to support the planning and execution of solution deployments.

Leverage the capabilities of SAP’s latest technology platform(s) and reinforce their benefits. Support the transformation toward the Intelligent Enterprise. Implement and support the operation of technical system landscapes.

Support setup and connectivity of integrated system landscapes (on-premise, cloud and hybrid) with good understanding of state‑of‑the‑art methodologies. Engage in technology components‑specific expert consulting.

Support the delivery of system optimization services. Support solution proposals and bid management.

Support the delivery of customer workshops and trainings. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services.

Show comprehensive understanding of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; deliver according to specification and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Support in solution testing and issue resolution.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field of study.

Providing project‑specific development to analyze and support issue resolution caused during data transformations, migration, or testing.

Understanding customer transformation requirements and conducting due diligence and fit‑gap analysis.

Providing service proposals to customers undergoing IT transitions.

Liaising with customer stakeholders to develop resilient risk‑reward model‑based use cases.

Supporting Go‑To‑Market planning, execution of roadshows, and creating marketing collaterals for brand building.

Defining software testing strategy and executing with business and functional understanding on various testing types.

Mapping and defining functional requirements to manual test cases or automated test scripts.

Ideating, designing, automating, and managing standards to enhance development and maintenance for project‑specific and administrative tasks.

Position requires up to 50% domestic and international travel to various unanticipated client sites to implement customer‑procured solutions.

Annual base salary range: $125,923 – $126,180. Targeted combined range: $125,923 – $140,200. Final offer will be within that range, based on education, experience, qualifications, and location.
