As a Client Solutions Specialist, you play a critical role in ensuring our clients and members receive prompt, accurate, and well‑considered resolutions to complex issues. You are entrusted with investigating and analyzing multifaceted concerns, partnering with cross‑functional teams, and influencing outcomes that directly shape the customer experience.

• Lead complex investigations to identify root causes and deliver effective, lasting solutions
• Identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
• Provide clear, timely, and professional communication to internal and external stakeholders

• Healthcare Knowledge (Preferred): Experience with self‑funded health insurance, ancillary benefits, and regulatory requirements (ACA, HIPAA, state).

• Associate’s degree in a business‑related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in self‑funded billing, accounts receivable, claims, enrollment, reconciliation, or healthcare customer service

• Must have an Android or iOS device compatible with the free Microsoft Authenticator app.

Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri‑State Area of Delaware, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
