We help brands connect with their audiences on every screen using advanced data, technology, and premium video content. Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising. Our ad tech division Free Wheel provides comprehensive adtech that makes it easier to buy and sell premium video advertising across all screens, data types, and sales channels.

The Sr Data Scientist is a senior technical leader and recognized subject matter expert responsible for architecting and delivering enterprise AI/ML solutions. This role leads multiple strategic initiatives, partners across Product, Engineering, and MLOps, mentors technical teams, and drives the adoption of advanced AI capabilities.

• Lead multiple data science initiatives and architect scalable AI/ML, optimization, and Generative AI solutions for complex business problems.
• Design and implement advanced statistical, machine learning, optimization, forecasting, recommendation, and AI models that deliver measurable business value.
• Partner with Engineering and MLOps to develop production‑ready AI solutions, model monitoring, and deployment best practices.
• Define technical approaches, establish data science standards, and evaluate emerging AI technologies.
• Lead cross‑functional programs, influence technical strategy, and communicate complex analytical concepts to business and executive stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior data scientists while fostering technical excellence and innovation across the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s or Ph.D. preferred in a quantitative field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple AI/ML techniques, with specialization in areas such as optimization, forecasting, recommendation systems, pricing, attribution, or supply chain analytics.
• Experience building production AI solutions and partnering with Engineering/MLOps.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or agentic AI solutions.
• Excellent technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Collaborating with product and service teams to define data‑driven questions and design experiments for complex analysis.
• Leading the development and coding of algorithms and automated processes for data cleansing and integration from varied sources.
• Applying advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
• Creating statistical and mathematical models to address sophisticated business issues and support broader initiatives.
• Architecting data mining models and methodologies, and executing statistical analyses to identify trends in big data.
• Analyzing behavioral data to discern historical customer behavior patterns and product performance insights.
• Building predictive models based on historical data to forecast customer behavior and guide business strategy.
• Formulating strategic recommendations and tactical plans by leveraging data science techniques on complex business data.
• Researching and implementing emerging data science principles and techniques to inform and enhance business decisions.
• Communicating analytical methodologies and results through comprehensive deliverables and stakeholder presentations.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

National Pay Range: $93,062.99 – $ USD.
