IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst
A mid-size organization in the chemical manufacturing sector is seeking a Senior Oracle SCM Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing modules within Oracle Cloud (a must) and Oracle E-Business Suite R12 (nice to have) background. This is a strategic, full-time role offering the chance to work on high-impact business solutions in a collaborative IT environment.
About the Role
This role involves partnering with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Oracle SCM and MFG modules.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Oracle SCM and MFG modules.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and liaise with technical teams to implement effective solutions.
- Participate in the full systems lifecycle: design, configuration, testing, upgrades, integrations, and production support.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes related to purchasing, inventory, production, and order fulfillment.
- Conduct gap analysis, develop test plans, support UAT, and lead solution rollouts.
- Support enhancements, system maintenance, and production issue troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules.
- Supply Chain Modules:
Purchasing (PO), Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), Shipping Execution, Pricing. - Nice to Have:
Process Manufacturing Modules:
Process Execution & Batch Management, Recipe & Work Definition, Scheduling, Quality, Costing. - Ability to analyze complex processes and recommend improvements within Oracle ERP.
- Adept at creating and maintaining functional design documentation, test scripts, and user training materials.
- Proven experience in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and production support.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to act as a bridge between technical teams and business users.
Preferred Skills
- APICS Certification (American Production and Inventory Control Society) highly preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to integrations with external systems or third-party tools is a plus.
