Buyer, Supply Chain​/Logistics

B. Braun, a global leader in healthcare products, is seeking a Buyer I to support procurement for its biotechnology and pharmaceutical operations. In this role, you will create and manage purchase orders, help source and evaluate suppliers, and coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and finance to ensure timely, cost-effective material availability. You will monitor inventory, track deliveries, resolve supplier issues, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders for materials and components to support pharmaceutical production
• Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met
• Assist with vendor negotiations and contract terms under guidance of senior buyers
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts
• Track order status, resolve delivery issues, and maintain accurate procurement records
• Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and finance teams to align purchasing with production needs
• Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability goals
