Chief of R&D

A company is looking for a Research & Development Chief to provide scientific leadership and manage a virtual R&D team.

Key Responsibilities Lead the execution of product development strategy and manage a high-performing virtual R&D team Identify and translate strategic priorities into funding calls and oversee post-award support and portfolio transitions Foster collaboration across the organization and the AMR ecosystem to ensure successful progression of product developers

Required Qualifications Senior leadership experience in R&D within biotech and/or pharma, focusing on infectious diseases Experience managing high-performing R&D teams in a virtual or matrixed structure Exposure to multiple phases of R&D, from discovery through development and commercialization Demonstrated success in progressing therapeutics, preventatives, and/or diagnostics in infectious diseases/AMR Significant budget authority and investment decision experience in grant-funded or portfolio investment environments
