CQ Medical is seeking a Production Technician specialized in Layup Composites & Devices. This role supports the design, manufacture, and quality assurance of radiation oncology medical devices to improve treatment for cancer patients.
Shift:
Mon.–Thu., 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Work with minimal supervision on a team to build specific composite parts per specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of molds and forms.
- Mark and cut tape, woven material, honeycomb, adhesive and similar materials following templates or dimensions.
- Fit and smooth successive layers of materials to ensure a build-up free of wrinkles, air pockets, or voids per instructions.
- Ensure final size, shape, and details of parts meet standards.
- Monitor and comment on product quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Identify and help resolve problems.
- Complete required paperwork.
Required Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED, and 2 years’ experience in assembly, maintenance, manufacturing production, or related skills.
Other Useful Skills and Abilities
- Previous composites lay-up experience (preferred).
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with limited supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use small hand tools.
- Knowledge of workplace safety; able to read and speak English to understand work instructions.
- Willingness to understand manufacturing processes and be team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
Physical Demands
Regularly sit, talk, and listen; occasionally stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision.
Work Environment
Moderate noise level typical of a manufacturing setting. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable performance of essential functions.
