DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED or Associates Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance leadership experience
  • Experience with continuous improvement techniques
  • Experience with Finishing and /or Anodizing processes
  • Trained and competent in LEAN principles
  • Experience leading EHS initiatives throughout an organization
  • Experience working in JD Edwards
ROLE:
  • Seeking Maintenance Supervisor in Bloomsburg, PA who plays a vital role in driving operational performance and supporting continuous improvement across the facility.
  • As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will generally lead a team four Maintenance Technicians and be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and upholding EHS performance, practices and compliance standards that directly impacts productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • You must be able to quickly learn the plant's maintenance programs, systems, and equipment; exhibit strong leadership, coaching, influencing capabilities; and have technical expertise related to CMMS, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, MCCs, Mechanical, Welding, and other core maintenance technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and engage maintenance teams in process improvement, troubleshooting, and safe work practices to drive operational performance.
  • Facilitate daily shift meetings (L1) to align teams with business goals and monitor maintenance activities for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Drive problem-solving initiatives using A3 thinking, PDCA methodology, and Root Cause Analysis to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Coach, counsel, and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Plan, manage and execute departmental operations, including scheduling, crew assignments, resource management, and overtime.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS standards, lead safety initiatives, and perform required self-assessments for designated areas.
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity, while promoting best practices across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain standard work for team members and leaders; complete and review Leader Standard Work with supervisors.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align expectations, communicate priorities, and support customer needs.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and labor agreements consistently and effectively.
SCHEDULE:

This role follows a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, operating on a 2-3-2 rotating schedule over a two-week cycle. This schedule provides a consistent 2-3-2 rotation with every other weekend off and a built-in three-day mid-week break every other week, supporting work-life balance and recovery. Additionally, for weeks worked over 40 hours you are paid overtime. For weeks you are working 36 hours, you are paid for 40 hours.
