B. Braun seeks a Mold Shop Machinist-Tool & Die Maker to support Manufacturing & Production of high quality healthcare products. In this on site role, you will build, repair, and maintain molds, dies, and precision tooling using CNC and conventional machines, ensuring reliability for critical medical components. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, machining tight tolerance parts, troubleshooting tooling issues, and documenting work to meet strict quality and safety standards.

You'll collaborate closely with engineering and production, contributing to continuous improvement while growing your skills in a supportive, learning focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines to build and repair molds, dies, and precision tooling
  • Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T to machine close tolerance components
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and refurbishment of molds and tooling to minimize production downtime
  • Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and verify conformance to specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve tooling issues and support new product or process introductions
  • Document work performed in accordance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements (e.g., medical device standards)
  • Participate in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and process optimization activities in the mold shop
  • Follow and promote strict safety, cleanliness, and 5
  • S practices within the manufacturing environment
