Material Handler
Quanex is looking for a Material Handler in Allentown, PA.
This position is responsible for working as part of a team in the moving, replenishment, and availability of materials, components and inventory throughout production areas in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm.

What Success Looks Like:
- Transports raw materials, supplies and finished goods throughout the production floor.
- Monitors inventory levels at production lines to ensure material availability.
- Replenish materials and supplies in accordance with production schedules and operational requirements.
- Communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and supply concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other equipment as authorized.
- Support shipping, receiving, warehouse and logistics activities as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
Education/Experience
- 2 years' experience driving electric and/or forklifts.
- Experience using inventory management systems, scanners or ERP systems preferred.
- Ability to perform physical functions of job (lifting of at least 50 lbs repetitively).
- Forklift Certification preferred
Job Type: Full-time
The starting rate for this position is $19.50, with bonus potential.
