Senior Director-HSE leading Health, Safety, and Environmental at Lilly's new Lehigh Valley manufacturing site.
ObjectivesEstablishing HSE strategy, management systems, and ensuring compliance during construction, start-up, and operations.
ResponsibilitiesBuilding and leading a high-performing HSE organization, advancing a safety culture, developing and implementing HSE programs, managing regulatory interactions, and supporting site transition from construction to routine manufacturing.
QualificationsBachelor's in science, engineering, or HSE; significant HSE and manufacturing experience; strong leadership, compliance, and risk management skills; experience with CAPA systems and GMP operations; on-site presence required.
PreferredExperience with greenfield/site start-up, regulatory knowledge, and cross-functional influence.
High-value specificsOverseeing safety in a complex, technologically advanced biopharma manufacturing facility focusing on biologics or advanced modalities, during construction, start-up, and operational phases.
CollaborationAcross Operations, Quality, HR, and Regulatory functions, with a focus on injury-free workplace and continuous improvement.
