As a Travel CVOR RN, you will provide specialized nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room, assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures and ensuring optimal patient outes. Your role includes preparing patients for surgery, monitoring their condition, and collaborating with the surgical team.
Responsibilities- Assess and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgeries
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during cardiovascular operations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Provide patient education and support pre- and post-operatively
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
- Ensure a sterile and safe operating environment
- Active RN license with CVOR experience
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CVOR RN
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and patient care
- Excellent munication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to travel for assignments
