Responsibilities- Resident Assessments: Conduct assessments, observe changes, and document care in approved systems.
- Care Coordination: Develop care plans, coordinate implementation with staff, and revise plans based on resident response.
- Medication Oversight: Dispense medications, ensure proper administration by qualified personnel, and maintain accurate medication records.
- Team Communication: Relay important information to supervisors, participate in rounds and meetings, and support communication among staff, residents, and families.
- Quality and Safety: Conduct audits, follow regulatory standards, support QAPI efforts, and take corrective action on safety concerns.
- Leadership Support: Provide guidance to subordinates, teach procedures, evaluate performance, and assist with staffing needs.
- Part-time employment, 8 hours per day; 40 hours per week.
- Positions are available on the following shifts:
- 2nd shift – 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd shift – 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Rotating weekends and holidays.
- Telework: No telework option in this position.
- Salary: Starting salary may be non‑negotiable in some cases.

- Special Requirements: Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Employees with an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within one year, per Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- If within 60 days of graduating from an approved nursing school, you may apply; at appointment, prove possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer may require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening.
- Position falls under the Older Adult Protective Services Act; a conditional offer requires criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance.
