• Provide direct nursing services to students and respond to medical emergencies.
• Assess, monitor, and manage student health conditions, including chronic and acute illnesses.
• Develop and maintain individualized healthcare plans, emergency action plans, and related health documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, district policy, and state regulations.
• Conduct health screenings and coordinate follow‑up care as required by Pennsylvania regulations.
• Monitor immunization compliance and maintain accurate student health records.
• Participate as a member of multidisciplinary teams, including IEP, Section 504, Student Assistance Program (SAP), and threat assessment teams.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community agencies to support student health and wellness.
• Provide health education and consultation to students, staff, and families.
• Promote disease prevention, infection control, and school‑wide wellness initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and district policies.
• Prepare reports and maintain records as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Department of Education.
• Serve as a resource to administrators and staff regarding student health concerns and health‑related accommodations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the administration.

• Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification – Certified School Nurse (PK‑12)
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to student health services, including Section 504, IDEA, FERPA, and Pennsylvania School Health regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
