Full‑time RN Opportunity

Shift 7pm–7:30am with a every other weekend rotation.

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is a 119‑bed inpatient behavioral health facility with numerous outpatient programs spanning the entire continuum of care. Located minutes outside of State College in Central PA, the 52‑acre rural campus offers comprehensive care to patients from children through geriatrics.

Full‑time status qualifies for a $30,000.00 sign‑on bonus.

Part‑time and PRN positions are available; some benefits and the sign‑on bonus may be excluded.

• Provide professional nursing care for all patients on the Child, Adolescent, Stabilization and Adult Units.
• Prescribe, coordinate and delegate nursing care and oversee unit activities for each shift.
• Complete nursing assessments and document care and progress of each patient each shift.
• Complete the Columbia Suicide Assessment on all new admissions and on any patient who changes suicide risk level.
• Facilitate medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education.
• Respond to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.
• Attend Treatment Team meetings to aid in the development of patient care plans.
• Oversee Mental Health Technicians and Licensed Practical Nurses working on the unit.

• Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nursing License or temporary permit to practice.
• Genuine interest in psychiatric nursing.
• Previous psychiatric nursing experience preferred, not required as on‑the‑job training and education are provided.
