Serves as the primary contact for referring physicians requesting services for continued patient care.;
Monitors bed availability to ensure timely placement and determine admissions/transfer choices.;
Documents required information within the patient's record and transcribes interactions on calls and transfers.;
Triages and prioritizes patient transfers to specialty care and escalates major issues as needed.
