If yes, we have a great opportunity for you  are leading producer of CZT (Cadmium, Zinc, Telluride) based radiation detectors used in several markets, including advanced medical imaging. Our products can detect cancers much earlier and more precisely, resulting in safer and healthier lives.

We have an opening for a Testing Operator on our Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM schedule. This is a key role in our CZT based radiation detector production process in which you would perform a variety of final product tests (basic to complex) on our many radiation detector devices against customer specifications.

Duties
  • Follow specific work instructions and testing protocols when conducting various tests.
  • Utilize detector device design drawings in the performance of the work.
  • Enter test data into a computer program, review and determine if detector devices meet customer specifications.
  • Based on detector products being tested, conduct and observe tests on several products simultaneously or conduct in-depth tests requiring the sophisticated interpretation of test data spreadsheets.
  • Complete production documentation as necessary.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (electrostatic straps, gloves) in the performance of the work.
Requirements
  • Strong computer operation knowledge and computer navigation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of computer programs, Excel in particular.
  • Computer programming experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability and stamina to remain focused on testing duties and to perform tests on a large volume of detector products per day.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend electrical schematics, test protocols, work instructions, detector device design drawings.
  • Knowledge and prior use of measurement tools is helpful.
