We’re hiring a Line Cook for BALVANERA, an Argentine restaurant located in Pittsburgh’s vibrant Strip District. This role is a great fit for a skilled, passionate cook who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their station and values teamwork, consistency and high-quality food execution.

What You’ll Do- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, standards and chef guidance
- Take full ownership of your station, including setup, organization, cleanliness and breakdown
- Communicate product needs, quality concerns and prep updates with chefs and the ordering team
- Follow proper knife skills, food prep techniques and health & safety standards
- Coordinate with FOH to accommodate special dietary requests
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support special events and BEOs as needed
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a professional kitchen (required)
- Strong knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Hourly pay starting at $22.00, with competitive rates based on experience
