Our Southeast National sales team is dedicated to partnering with organizations to address and solve complex risk problems. At Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions, we pride ourselves in providing solutions that directly impact our customers’ ability to mitigate and manage risk.
About the JobThe National Account Manager role maintains and grows a book of business in the assigned territory PA and MD, while driving the utilization of Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions products across various platforms to create positive business outcomes.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement plans that identify sales strategies, assess revenue potential, and outline targeted activities to maximize revenue opportunities and penetrate markets with Lexis Nexis Risk products and solutions.
- Create clear and thorough sales plans for each of the assigned accounts detailing all relevant information about an account, its industry, and its specific Lexis Nexis Risk history so that you can strategically target your efforts to determine additional products or solutions Lexis Nexis Risk can provide.
- Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships at all levels, and act as a liaison between sales support and customers in order to provide superior service and solutions.
- Create and implement effective account/territory plans that include developing and implementing a sales strategy considering new business growth, managing resources necessary to drive new business, forecasting revenue, and developing key contacts and business relationships within a new account including influential individuals and high‑level decision makers.
- Develop a strategic sales plan using business analysis tools to identify and track revenue trends, recognize sales opportunities, target specific sales activities, and analyze competitive threats.
- Understand the value of Lexis Nexis Risk products and pricing as well as competitive offerings, and articulate Lexis Nexis Risk benefits in a manner meaningful to a customer.
- 5+ years proven sales experience, with relevant industry or product experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and forecasting skills.
- Understanding of the corporate and/or professional research process and ability to quickly develop an in‑depth understanding of Lexis Nexis Risk products and services and how they apply to a customer’s needs.
- Outstanding networking capabilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
- Comfortable with up to 30 percent travel requirements.
- Must be located in the territory MD & PD.
U.S. National Base Pay Range: $98,500 – $183,000. Total Target Cash Range: $151,700 – $281,500. Geographic differentials may apply to better reflect local market rates. If performed in Maryland, the base pay range is $103,400 – $192,200, and the total target cash range is $159,200 – $295,600. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
