Area Sales Manager

You take responsibility for developing and strengthening your designated sales territory by building sustainable customer relationships and expanding the existing client network with a strong focus on the kitchen cabinet and furniture industries. Through a combination of personal customer visits and digital communication, you create close connections and identify new business opportunities. In collaboration with internal sales teams and technical specialists, you contribute to achieving sales objectives and successfully positioning Pollmeier products in the market.

Pollmeier strongly believes in the future of hardwood products and is investing heavily in innovative production facilities to create products that make hardwoods easier and lower cost to use. With over one thousand employees, Pollmeier is the world market and technology leader in the processing of beech hardwood from well managed forests in Germany. Our outstanding new product portfolio sets the future standard and enables our customers to reduce significantly material and labour costs as well as improve the quality of their production at the same time.

• As Area Sales Manager, you are the face of the Pollmeier brand and the first point of contact for your customers in a defined sales territory
• You are a networker ready to manage, expand, and further develop our existing sales territory
• You win over your customers preferably in personal meetings on-site, while also maintaining contact using digital tools
• You continuously expand the customer base through the acquisition of new clients
• You identify and awaken customer needs and thereby create long-term relationships to the benefit of end users
• You coordinate the involvement of specialists who support you in sales situations as needed
• You work closely with the internal sales team and sales management to achieve agreed sales targets and successfully market our products

• Experience in the hardwood sales industry, furniture manufacturing, or kitchen cabinet production
• Strong technical background combined with excellent communication skills
• Passion for sales and customer interaction
• Independent, proactive and goal-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility for achieving sales success
• Willingness to travel regularly and possession of a valid driver’s license
