Sales Representative

Job Summary

The Sales Representative adds value to the team by communicating directly & prompt ly with our customers, and by supporting other Sales and Project Management staff. Reporting to the Director of Federal Sales, most of this role involves reviewing bid portals, preparing quotes, and helping orders move from bid stage through to billing. This role is a great fit for someone who's organized, resourceful, and looking for growth.

• Regularly review and identify bid opportunities posted on bid portals (daily)
• Respond to customer account inquiries via email and phone (daily)
• Accurately prepare and submit bids/quotes by specified deadlines (daily)
• Research new markets
• Enter new orders into our project ordering system
• Obtain quotes from installers, representatives, and manufacturers through email & phone communication
• Create and maintain customer & quote records
• Ensure customers have complete & current order status
• Collaborate with internal departments to process orders, research lead times, and resolve issues
• Work with vendors and carriers to ensure order fulfillment
• Build familiarity with federal contracting regulations and guidelines
• Manage GSA contract catalog
• Undertake special projects and assignments as needed
• Attend trainings, industry shows, and trade shows as directed
