** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points as assigned.

+ Monitor access to the location and help to deter unauthorized entry, disturbances, and/or unusual activity through visible presence and routine observation.

+ Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating security-related information to residents, guests, and/or staff.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience is required.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
