Starting Rate of pay: $28.58 - $42.00 / hour
Shift Premium: $1.00 / hour extra for shift differential
Shift: Night shift, 5:50 pm – 6 am on an EOWEO/2-2-3 rotation (training may occur on day shift, but you will switch to night shift thereafter)
What you will be doing- Diagnose complex equipment failures, troubleshoot root causes, and develop solutions using a scientific approach and tools such as prints, sketches, manuals, and diagnostic equipment.
- Safely dismantle, adjust, repair, and operate complex equipment using hand and power tools, cranes, and hoists, often involving complex rigging.
- Apply knowledge of mechanics, welding, pipe fitting, hydraulics, and other crafts to efficiently repair or maintain complex equipment daily.
- Complete work in a timely manner, often without direct supervision, organizing work for maximum efficiency and adjusting priorities based on plant needs and business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education/
Experience:
- A Mechanical Technical Degree or certificate equivalent with 1‑year practical experience and/or 3‑5 years of practical experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
- Strong ability to read, comprehend, and interpret schematics, loop drawings, P&’s, and other technical resource manuals.
Preferred Skills/
Qualifications:
- Candidate will be required to successfully complete knowledge and skills assessments and participate in training initiatives to maintain and improve skills in required time frames.
- Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving skills, capable of effectively and efficiently troubleshooting machinery, tooling, process control loops, and other instrument device failures.
- Knowledge base in software and ability to perform calculations and conversions.
