Our direct client is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer who will develop features and improvements to products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way. This includes proprietary, customized-off-the-shelf and as well as third-party solutions to enable business lines, service offerings or other. Software Engineers are responsible for delivering high-quality, standardized, secure, and performant code for the value benefit of the company and the customers.

• Work with Product Management and other stakeholders (backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features.
• Write code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment.
• Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
• Learn, collaborate, and teach other Software Engineers.
• Identify areas of improvements in the code base, both specific to your group and outside your group (e.g. component library) and help contribute to make it better.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• 8+ years of professional experience with ASP.NET.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular and React.
• Proficient with Source Control Management best practices and automation tools.
• Expertise with build automation tools, specifically Jenkins.
• Knowledge of source code control management systems and configuration management (Git and Rational preferred).
• Understanding of Dev Ops processes, with appreciation for the value that technologies like Serverless and Kubernetes bring to the software deployment and development process.
• A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• Experience with Sitecore is a plus.
• Effective communication skills.
• Positive and solution-oriented mindset.
• An inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility.
• Self-motivated and self-managing, with great organizational skills.
• Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.
• Ability to thrive in a geographically distributed organization.
• Experience with web application development, Git, and CI/CD.
• A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts.
• A solid understanding of relational data and/or non-relational models.
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
• Experience in a tech startup, enterprise software company, developer platform/tool industry, and product company.
• HS Diploma/GED, with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Mathematics required.
