B. Braun Medical Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Software Developer II to join our IT and Cybersecurity department. This role focuses on creating and improving software solutions that enhance the safety and efficacy of medical treatments and contribute to the company's mission of eliminating preventable treatment errors in healthcare. As a senior member of our development team, you will lead projects and innovate processes that ensure our medical products and services not only meet but exceed the stringent demands of clinical safety and patient care.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and implement software solutions that meet the specialized needs of the healthcare industry.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret system requirements.
Lead the design and maintenance of large-scale database systems and application frameworks.
Monitor the performance of the existing systems and recommend enhancements.
Drive the development lifecycle of software solutions, from conceptualization through to deployment and post-launch support.
Ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of software development services.
Provide mentoring to junior software developers and help in shaping development guidelines.

Required Skills

Proficiency in major programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or Java
Script
Experience with databases, both relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and No
SQL (Mongo
DB, Cassandra)
Familiarity with the development and deployment of software solutions within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Strong understanding of the requirements for software in the healthcare industry including compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and GDPRExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to mentor and lead development teams
