Main Tasks:

• Executes daily deliveries using a 26 foot Non CDL Box Truck to customers
• Loads and unloads trucks by hand or pallet jack; limited use of lift gates
• Provides excellent customer service
• Prepares product for shipping to include boxing and shrink wrapping
• Ensures deliveries are made in a safe and timely manner to meet customer needs
• Complies with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). pre and post trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues
• Home daily – no overnight routes
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent education
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must have a current valid DOT medical card
• 21+ years of age
• 1+ years of driving experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or with a team
• Prior warehouse experience
• Good customer service skills
• Must possess attention to detail
• Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to communicate
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts and other machinery.
• The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
• Ability to work in temperature conditions between 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, and hear.
• The employee frequently is required to sit, stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/lift with hands and arms up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Routes traveled will be regional delivery routes returning home daily
