Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Associate in Greencastle, PA. This position offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure scanning is completed correctly.
• Help train dock employees on new procedures.
• Secure facility at shift end, investigate/resolve scanning issues, and maintain housekeeping.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for product or container damage.
• Execute tasks in line with the location’s policies and procedures, including handling materials within associated transactions.
• Move materials with associated physical/logical transactions as required.
• Participate in workgroup and team activities for self‑improvement and operational efficiency.
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least six months of related warehouse experience required (one year or more preferred).
• Intermediate skill in operating powered industrial trucks (stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks), including maintenance and troubleshooting.
• May be required to operate manual and/or automated equipment such as a packaging line (intermediate preferred).
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, and policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into the WMS computer system(s) in use.
• Willingness to work overtime as assigned.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships at all organizational levels.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility, self‑driven, and able to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Detail oriented with strong follow‑up practices.
