The physician will provide comprehensive family medicine services for patients of all ages, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. The ideal candidate is passionate about rural healthcare and comfortable practicing independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
This role allows physicians to practice at the top of their training while making a lasting impact in a community that values and appreciates its healthcare providers.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive family medicine care across the lifespan
Deliver prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum obstetric services
Perform C-sections as part of surgical obstetrics practice
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialists
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Participate in shared call coverage
Optional:
Provide Emergency Department coverage if desired
Graduate of an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
Training in surgical obstetrics / C-section capability required
Strong organizational and care coordination skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Flexible and adaptable approach to patient care
Commitment to serving diverse rural populations
Passion for community-focused medicine
Active or eligible Nebraska medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
BLS, PALS, and ACLS (required within 3 months of hire)
ATLS certification required for physicians providing Emergency Department coverage
