School Operations Associate; Collins Family College- High School

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is a nonprofit public charter school network that operates 25 high‑performing schools across Los Angeles, serving the largest percentage of Latinx, Black, and immigrant students in the city. Since 2004, 95% of Alliance scholars have graduated from high school.

The Operations Associate is a key member of the school’s operations team, handling a wide variety of non‑instructional tasks. As a representative of the school, the associate welcomes callers, guests, and visitors, providing accurate information and delivering excellent service while building positive interpersonal relationships with staff, scholars, families, and the community.

• Receive calls and walk‑in inquiries, provide information, make referrals, and direct guests to proper destinations.
• Process data entry and maintenance related to attendance, enrollment, nutrition, and other programs.
• Complete sales transactions and write receipts for incoming funds (uniform sales, food services, fundraisers, etc.).
• Provide supervision of scholars during passing periods, lunches, or as needed.
• Maintain accurate and orderly confidential records, both online and in physical copies.
• Prepare, receive, send, and maintain records and correspondence as needed.
• Support the execution of school community events and initiatives.
• Communicate with families and external partners as needed.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• Belief that all scholars, regardless of economic or social background, deserve a quality education and can earn a four‑year college degree.
• Desire to work in systemically underserved communities and contribute to Alliance’s social justice mission, integrating anti‑racist, pro‑Black, student‑centered practices.
• Ability to develop a positive, achievement‑oriented, supportive, and collaborative culture of high expectations that motivates scholars to learn at a college‑preparatory level.
• Growth mindset and commitment to continuously improving one’s craft.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills with both children and adults.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university (preferred).
• Spanish fluency (preferred).

Competitive salary ranging from $23.50 to $29.00 per hour, based on experience. This is a non‑exempt position. Coalition offers generous retirement and health benefits, paid holidays, and leave. Professional development and staff recognition programs are also available.
