Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. In this critical role, you will support expecting mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum care, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive outcomes. Your expertise will directly impact families in a collaborative, high-quality clinical setting committed to excellence.
Required Skills
Valid Nebraska RN license or the ability to obtain licensure
Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
Proven experience in Labor & Delivery or postpartum nursing
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice to Have Skills
Prior experience in a rural or community hospital setting
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
Certification in fetal monitoring or other specialized L&D training
Bilingual skills to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
Minimum of 2 years of L&D nursing experience
Previous experience working in Nebraska or similar healthcare environments
Other Requirements
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and patient needs
Commitment to maintaining up-to-date certifications and licensure
