Payroll Specialist

Securitas Technology is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support accurate, timely payroll for a global provider of integrated electronic security and life safety solutions. In this role, you will process multi-state payroll, validate time and attendance data, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure compliance with wage, hour, and tax regulations. You will partner with HR and Finance to maintain payroll records, support audits, and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate, timely biweekly or monthly payroll for assigned employee groups
• Validate and upload time and attendance data, resolving discrepancies with managers and HR Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and pay changes
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage, hour, and tax regulations
• Perform payroll reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports for HR, Finance, and management
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries while maintaining confidentiality
• Assist with payroll audits and documentation requests
• Collaborate with HR and Finance on process improvements and system enhancements
• Support implementation and optimization of payroll and HRIS technologies
