Front Desk Coordinator Open Up to a Whole New Dental Experience

Overview

The front desk coordinator plays a key role in facilitating patient flow and ensuring a welcoming environment. You will be responsible for administrative and customer service tasks, financial coordination, and scheduling to support the dental team.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 8 AM – 5 PM.

Responsibilities
  • Dependable handling of financial information, insurance verification, and end‑of‑day reports, keeping patients worry‑free.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as sorting, opening, distributing mail, scanning, photocopying, answering phone calls, and greeting visitors or patients.
  • Schedule, verify, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Explain procedures and services to patients using dental knowledge.
  • Present financial policies and arrangements to patients, collect co‑payments, and verify insurance coverage as appropriate.
  • Track appointments to monitor no‑shows, cancellations, and late arrivals.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
  • 1–5 years of customer service, insurance, or dental experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental software, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new programs as needed.
