Assistant Professor Of Chemistry And Biochemistry

The department of Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Physics at the University of Mount Union, an ACS approved program, invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Chemistry and biochemistry position to begin August 1, 2027. Our department of eleven faculty members strives for excellence in student learning through interactions in the classroom, working together in teaching labs, and undergraduate research experiences.

Teaching responsibilities may include courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and biochemistry. Development of a strong undergraduate research program is required.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry; ABD will be considered. Applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, teaching philosophy and statement of research interests to (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).
