Entry-Level Recycling Sorter
💲 $11.00 per hour
🕒 Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
📍 Local Alliance Company
New to the workforce? This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the industrial field. No experience required — we will train you!
We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our recycling team. This position involves working outdoors in the elements year-round and performing physical labor in a fast-paced environment.

- Sort and separate recyclable materials including cardboard, paper, plastic, cans, and metal
- Empty remaining liquids from containers before materials enter the recycling process (employees will get wet when dumping expired liquids)
- Inspect incoming loads and remove unacceptable materials
- Safely deposit recoverable materials into appropriate bins
- Assist team members with heavy or bulky items as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work outdoors in the elements all year round (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
- Employees must dress appropriately for all weather conditions
- Exposure to dust, odors, and wet conditions
- Fast-paced production environment
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting
- Ability to lift materials throughout the shift
- Mandatory overtime is required as scheduled
- No experience needed — great entry-level opportunity
