* Position:
Assistant Press Operator
Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm
Location:
Outside of Alliance
Salary: $15.40 per hour
Company Overview:
Join our dynamic team at a reputable company dedicated to fostering lasting relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers. We're seeking an Assistant Press Operator to contribute to our quality-focused printing operations in an updated facility.
Duties:
* Place prepared cylinders into the press.
* Prepare cores and skids as required.
* Stage necessary supplies such as cartons and labels.
* Monitor and maintain ink levels in trays.
* Load rolls of film onto the printing press.
* Remove completed rolls from the press.
* Accurately record data including weight and impression count.
* Perform cleaning of ink trays and press during job changes.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Demonstrate precise measuring skills.
* Lift up to 80 lbs when necessary.
* Maneuver safely around, between, and underneath machines and equipment.
Qualifications:
* Detail-oriented with accurate measuring skills.
* Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
* Effective communication and teamwork.
* Willingness to work the 7:00am-3:00pm shift.
* Experience in printing operations is a plus.
** Cannot leave on lunch break**, nicotine free-must be able to go whole shift with out smoking/chewing/vaping due to food industry standards. Must be able to lift 80 lbs..
