Job Summary

Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate
$12.00 to $15.00 per hour plus commission up to 8% on transactions, which can average an additional $1.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate. The position is entry‑level and full‑time.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The role partners with store staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail sides. Associates greet, engage, and assist customers in processing sales, loans, and other transactions involving jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per company policies.
• Answers incoming calls according to company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes all required training.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work with customers, be team‑oriented, and serve the public.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Preferred cash handling experience.
• Must be able to work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must have a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate, operating Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems and common office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
