Industrial Electrician - Alliance, OH
Pay Range: $28.00 - $33.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
In this role you will oversee, inspect, repair, install, troubleshoot complex electrical systems, work with high-voltage equipment, diagnose PLCs, wire all electrical apparatuses, devices, and circuits across our manufacturing facility, and partner with plant Electrical Engineers to ensure maximum operational reliability and safety.
Responsibilities- Install, inspect, repair, and wire electrical circuits, power feeds, apparatuses, and devices of any voltage throughout the facility.
- Utilize a laptop PC to interface with PLC processors, monitor variables, upload software, force logic, and replace AC/DC motor drives, sensors, and analog components.
- Isolate circuits, dismantle, clean, adjust, and lubricate electrical assemblies and sub-components in full compliance with safety protocols.
- Repair and configure radio controls, transmitters, and mechanical/electrical components on overhead cranes and facility locomotives.
- Read and analyze complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to trace power feeds and resolve non-repetitive electrical issues.
- Inspect air compressor reservoirs, perform oil maintenance, and report mechanical or structural failures to leadership.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Foremen and plant Electrical Engineers to plan scheduled maintenance, resolve emergency outages, and optimize workflow.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, lock- out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and the PTC Quality Management System.
- High School Diploma, Vocational School Certificate, or GED.
- Strong working knowledge of standard electrical principles, NEC codes, and wiring specifications.
- Proficiency using tradesman tools, multimeters, and electrical testing equipment.
- Computer literacy, with experience navigating industrial PC programs and equipment software.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and math skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams.
- 4+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.
- Electrical Journeyman Card or equivalent state certification.
