Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Tru Cut Incorporated, a precision cutting tool manufacturer, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to manage daily material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include receiving raw materials, verifying shipments, processing orders, packing and labeling products, and preparing documentation for carriers. The role maintains accurate inventory records, organizes warehouse space, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. This hands-on position supports production schedules and on-time delivery while working collaboratively with manufacturing and customer service teams in a culture focused on precision and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing lists and purchase orders
• Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements
• Create and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records in company systems
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage locations for efficient material flow
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• Coordinate with production and customer service to meet shipping deadlines and support schedules
• Perform cycle counts and assist with regular inventory audits
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in the warehouse and dock areas
• Communicate shipment status and resolve shipping discrepancies with vendors and carriers
