Position Summary
The individual will lead an innovative and expert Clinical Development team that enables the strategic design, oversight, and execution of clinical research plans with deep disease area expertise, speed, and rigor across a broad Neuropsychiatry portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee design and strategic execution of all Neuropsychiatry clinical programs
* Supervise the strategic development of protocols and analysis of clinical trials from POC through life cycle management and late stage development (with registrational intent)
* Provide deep disease area expertise and oversight for clinical components of execution and clinical monitoring
* Interface with key thought leaders and experts in Neuropsychiatry drug development to strengthen disease area expertise within TA and contribute to TA and business development strategy
* Serve as the organization's senior expert on Neuropsychiatry clinical development and partner strategically with Research and Early Development teams
* Partner with key matrix stakeholders to advise the Head of Neuropsychiatry Clinical Dev on critical development decisions and portfolio management
* Represent organization in critical discussions with Health Authorities in the interpretation of clinical data, clinical trial design experiments, and safety and efficacy profiles of compounds
* Effectively collaborate with global cross- functional matrix team leaders within the organization
* Interface with clinical development leaders across Europe, Asia, Latin America and US
* Develop and promote a workplace culture that values diversity of thought, promote integrity and create an atmosphere that supports coaching and fosters accountability
Qualifications & Experience
* Significant clinical research and drug development expertise and leadership experience (10+ years) in Neuropsychiatry
* Degree Requirements: MD (neuro preferred)
* Successful track record of leading through influence and working across complex, global organizational matrices
* Deep understanding of early stage through late-stage drug development issues and challenges, as well as extensive experience designing and conducting innovative Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials within related areas of focus

Compensation Overview:
$415,630 - $503,649
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
