• Build and maintain referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the acute rehab unit.
• Assist and coordinate the intake and pre‑admission screening process.
• Perform on‑site clinical judgment to determine patient appropriateness for admission.
• Communicate rehabilitation and facility options to patients and families and assess expectations and participation requirements.
• Secure information relating to patients’ resources and benefits.
• Act as initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities.
• Spend around 80% of the day in assigned territory.

• Clinical licensure as an RN, PT, OT, or SLP and a bachelor’s degree.
• Previous clinical experience required, with demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and EMR systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous marketing/sales experience preferred.
• Formal sales training preferred.
