Alpena Public Schools is accepting applications for Special Education Teachers for Alpena High School.

We are offering a $5,000-$7,000 recruitment / retention incentive for the position.

• Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in education from an accredited college/university and a valid Michigan teaching certificate with special education endorsement is required; knowledge and skill in commonly-used approaches to educating emotionally impaired students and knowledge of the requirements of state and federal mandates which directly affect the program and teaching situation also required.
