Position Overview
North Am Con , LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee conveyor and material handling projects from initial concept through final delivery. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
This position is well-suited for a hands-on project manager who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment, collaborating across departments, and supporting both pre-sale and post-sale activities. Comparable roles in the conveyor and material handling industry emphasize cross-functional coordination, technical understanding, and customer-facing communication-key elements reflected in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close projects in accordance with defined timelines, scope, and budget
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and documentation using appropriate tools
- Track project progress and communicate status updates to internal teams and customers
- Proactively manage changes in project scope or schedule and implement contingency plans as needed
- Identify issues, troubleshoot challenges, and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track
- Assist the sales team by providing technical application support
- Create detailed proposals for conveyor systems using estimating tools and vendor quotations
- Estimate required resources, materials, and labor for each project
- Coordinate with vendors and outside suppliers to support project requirements
- Provide after-sale support and assist with customer service needs
- Project planning and execution in a manufacturing or industrial environment

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Translate customer requirements into actionable project plans
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Adapt to changing priorities and project requirements
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and vendors
- Make sound decisions to keep projects aligned with company and customer expectations
- Experience in management, project management, or leadership roles
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams
- Comfort working in both office and manufacturing-related environments
- Proficiency with software tools, spreadsheets, and CAD software
